Kat joined Shift in 2017. She will be taking on the role of Research and Evaluation Director as maternity leave cover while Kathleen is away. Kat works with the Shift research team and external partners to make sure our products and services are grounded in rich consumer insights and backed by a solid evidence base.

Kat has more than 10 years' experience integrating research and behavioural science into behaviour change and public engagement projects. Kat's expertise in decision sciences brings understanding of how people make choices in a complex environment and how the decision environment influences behaviour. Before joining Shift Kat worked extensively with Transport for London, Public Health England and Girl Effect.

Kat holds a BSc in Psychology with Sociology from the University of Bath and a MSc in Cognitive and Decision Sciences from UCL.

Outside of work Kat loves cycling, gardening and hanging out with her cat Dragon.
